Through the lift with the help of which it is possible to regulate height, the thick cord is passed. On the one end it is tie in a loop into which the lamp is inserted. The wire of the lamp is hidden in a cord. The designer Ana-Maria Pasescu Stewart has created her “hanged lamps” in four colours: black, green, dark blue and in red colour.

“It is easy to assemble and maintain, and can be easily bent to many different shapes,”says the designer. “The idea is that you would purchase it along with its own metal or wooden pulley system, allowing the user to manipulate the height of the light as they please.” In fact, these hanged lamps produce an oppressive impression.

It is obvious that these hanged lamps will not be very appropriate in the classic design of the house. All in all, to my mind, it is rather difficult to find a place, where these lamps will look in their place. To my mind, the only place they will suit is a kind of a show-room or an exhibition pavilion of modern art.
