In 2006 the lighting factory Lumen Center Italia has celebrated the thirtieth anniversary, symbolically having noted the data by the opening of new “house”.

From the very beginning the factory focused its special attention at the design of lamps. The factory has been based in 1976 in France, and in 1987 it was moved to Milan.

In 2000 the factory has passed under the company Villa Tosca Design Management, and within three decades the confident identification of the brand Lumen Center Italia has been reached as a result of persistent working out and manufacturing in the market of interior lighting design.

Lumen Center Italia is not going to become one of the manufacturer-giants that are daily stamping millions of units of the same production, it will always be more a laboratory that is in continuous search of the superiority at the level of ideas and realization. The lighting factory is more a laboratory where designers, architects, engineers, technicians and masters of manual craft unite for creation and development of the lamps that are born by heart and imagination, but realized with the obligatory account of the reasons of functionality.

To my mind the best series of lamps that are produced by Lumen Center Italia is CORAL. The last CORAL collection by the factory was enriched with one more model precious and refined: SUPER CORAL 40L. The decor of the lamp is made from mosaic gold that adds to it even more luxury and greatness.

Such factory as Pataviumart has the start point of their history in 1959. It was formed thanks to two people, spouses Adriano and Ines Gomiero. In this tandem Adriano was the owner of artistic talent and optimism of the true dreamer, and Ines was the great organizer with an acute sense of practicality.

Adriano together with his wife Ines started to develop the collection of Italian lamps in small premises in the city of Padua, one of historical cents of Italy, that is known for the rich traditions in the sphere of arts and manual production. The Latin name of a city sounds as “Patavium“, so that the factory name Pataviumart was born.
