Wall Sconce Flap. Design: Marco Zito

It is a new look on habitual wall lights – just one metal lay with slightly bent corners covers the second lay. On the one hand the construction is amazingly simple, but from the other this lamp form create new geometrical prospects of illumination of surrounding space.

The unusual form of the lamp is a synthesis of originality and development. Providing the bright illumination on 360 degrees at the same time transparent “wings” of the flying lamp care about eyes protection in the blinding light.

The structure of this lamp is a result of long searches and researches. The play of light and shades, cavities and emptiness, all this is the main feature of the lamp. Various colour shades are use in order to underline some features of character of the owner.

Tech Lighting Pendants For Hi-Tech Style

A Hi-Tech style has become popular not so long ago. It is a trend in the interior design that tends to deny all natural materials, using a lot of technical metallic objects and accentuating an unusual and provocative color mixture. Combination of yellow and blue or red and black is a distinctive feature of hi-tech together with some features of lighting, such as adjustable spotlights and recessed lighting. Hi-Tech style can be often seen the kitchen, because it’s the place were a lot of technical appliances are gathered: microwave ovens, mixers, coffee-makers and other automatic things that make our living easier.

A Hi-Tech design includes light reflections on different metallic surfaces, that’s why it is very important to think over the right placing of lighting elements. Lighting should accentuate details of the interior, lights can be inbuilt into the furniture, and ceiling or floor, usage of special curtain lights is also possible. In Hi-Tech style lights and pendants continue the decoration of the room. They remind us of technical equipment: there are lots of wires, tripods and hinges. Lights can be adjusted or placed in different positions. Long wires don’t have to be hidden anymore, on the contrary, they add to the Hi-Tech interior. Hi-tech style means lampshades made of perforated metallic tubes, that resemble high skyscrapers, and chandeliers that consist of smooth metallic plates.

Hi-Tech style is suitable for young people, that don’t care about the homey feel yet and are comfortable with such ‘garage-like’ conditions, though some Hi-Tech can be really comfortable and cozy. And if you want to make your Hi-Tech room more like home, you can always create some ‘mess’ of books and other things that will add some personality to the room.
