Maurizio Lamponi considers such lamps suitable for home, as they remind the objects of everyday life and make it peculiar at the same time. Every lamp is unique, the designer doesn’t make copies, every model is a work of art, which is the only one of its kind in the world.

This Italian artist uses genuine old things to create unusual and stylish lamps. His imagination doesn’t have any borders and his ideas are transformed into funny table lamps, which can decorate and light your room at the same time. So, it’s quite functional to have such extraodinary sources of light.

The Lamponi’s Vespa Lamps represent his collection, devoted to motorcycles. The parts of old scooters were used to create unique lamps. For example, steering handles are borrowed from the scooter Vespa.
It takes 20-30 days to create one lamp. It depends on constituent parts.

His original approach to inventing new models of lamps and his choice of material doesn’t leave anybody indifferent as well as the price for designer lamps in a form of a kettle, an iron, a plane or a motorcycle. The starting point is €1100. So, his works of art are not for everybody, but novelty and originality are reflected by cost.

Lamps from Switzerland is a rather unexpected combination. We have got used to prestigious Swiss chronometers, Swiss banks, Swiss knifes but not to lamps production. Nevertheless, today I would like to draw your attention to the Swiss manufacturer of lamps. The highest criteria of quality, accuracy and attention even to the smallest things, all this that is peculiar to the mentioned earlier non-light Swiss products, is peculiar also to the production by Senses. There is an interesting fact that in the catalogue there is a trade mark “made in Switzerland “. All the factory production is completely made in Switzerland, including all electronic stuffing. Electronics of these lamps is worth the separate detailed analysis and, actually, makes the basic highlight to the factory.

While the overwhelming majority of manufacturers in the field of economy of energy the imagination does not go further banal replacement of simple bulbs to power saving lamps. Senses offers the decision, on an abundance of possibilities reminding that famous Swiss knife. Elegant regulators in the base of the lamp give the chance to organize the work of lamps by Senses in almost any way, which can come in to mind.
Let me explain what does this mean. In the base of the lamp these are some built in gauges. One of them receives data concerning the general light exposure of the premise, the second is a movement sensor. The brightness of a luminescence is regulated rather smoothly.
And now it is a real approach to the economy of the electric power. By the way, the power saving bulbs in these lamps have some peculiarities too. The matter is that the usual power saving bulbs are not intended for frequent ons and offs, because of this its time resource falls greatly.
Senses has worked out this moment as well. All their lamps can be completed by the special power saving bulbs that are produced specially for frequent cycles of ons and offs without decrease in service life. Add to all the characteristics truly Swiss quality of glass, galvanic covering of metal parts and laconic, but verified design.

For example, if in the production of lamps from the collection LuceCrea Class crystals are used – it will be Swarovski without any doubts.

The most original of new lamps is the ceiling lamp 380134. Its base represents a picture in the solid baguette, that is decorated with the help of crystals by Swarovski. From the center of the base some the flexible metal tubes that are covered with gold of 24 carats go down. These tubes have bulbs on the end, that are covered with bent sheet-reflector, that is amazingly engraved by the means of the laser. The lamp combines the limiting functionality and grace. Thanks to flexibility of the metal tubes, you can direct the light to any side, thanks to sliding fastening of the sheet you can make so that the light will shine only in necessary direction. Well and aesthetic advantages of the lamp, that organically combine modern elements, classical accents and grace, do not require the special description.

Two more lamps belong to the same family is a pendant lamp and a sconce 379931. The technics of their manufacturing is not so refined, but all the same, they produce very pleasant impression. Polished metal with the wavy asymmetric edge, bent like a reflector, focuses light on the threads covered with cubic crystals by Swarovski.
